Ben Temperley, Project Architect

Ben joined the JAG team in the summer of 2012. He attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL where he earned his Master of Architecture. Ben became a registered architect in 2016.

Ben designs to elicit positive change and inspire. A positive change may be a sustainable building, a space to learn in, to be entertained in, study in, sell, in, etc. In all he does, he strives to take the utmost care to better his community while being a responsible steward to the earth, the health and life safety of a building’s occupants, and the client’s resources. He is honored and takes pride in being a part of a team at JAG that designs excellent spaces that will be around for generations to admire and enjoy.

Outside of the office, Ben loves the time he spends with his wife, Jamie and 4 children, Ethan, Sienna, Ella, and Liana. Ben and Jamie have often played music together at various church functions where he either plays electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, or sometimes even drums. Ben also enjoys golfing, watching sports, watercolor painting, and exercising.
